Prove It
In order to speak with any kind of credibility about the Middle East, we need to rise above the level of human reason and competing philosophies. The battles fought in this most troubled region of the earth have never been rooted in merely human motives. The Middle East is where the spiritual ideologies of the world rub together with a friction of global magnitude. When the Middle East shivers the world trembles. The Jewish prophet Ezekiel called it "the navel of the earth."

Who Speaks for GOD.
Does God exist? If He does, then who speaks for Him? Among the multitude of conflicting religious voices which speak with such dogmatic certainty about the Middle East, how can anyone be sure that they have God's view on the subject, and not the mere the philosophizing of men?

Expose the False Prophet
The Hebrew Scriptures have addressed this question in a way which no other "holy" writ has even dared attempt: by objectively proving their authority. Around the year 1240 b.c.e. when Moses was reviewing the Law with the newborn nation of Israel, God anticipated the question of how to authenticate a teaching as coming from the Creator.

He instituted a method proving supernatural inspiration which no man could possibly successfully falsify or achieve: Predict the Future with absolute accuracy. If one dared to claim the office of a prophet, and offer religious "truth," he must be able to prove that God, the All-Knowing Controller of All Things, is the Source of his teaching by foretelling the future with 100% inerrancy ... or he must die.

Deuteronomy 18:20-22
"But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak ... that prophet shall die. And if you say in your heart, 'How shall we know the word which the Lord has not spoken?', when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if that thing he has spoken does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken presumptuously; you shall not respect him."

Reasonably enough, at the end of the Prophetic era, the Lord spoke through the Prophet Zechariah and said, "

Zechariah 1:6
"Yet, surely My words and My statutes which I commanded My servants, the prophets, did they not overtake your fathers?"

Religious Teaching
This is a simple and unavoidable challenge. God told us to examine the supernatural predictive content "religious teaching" done in God's Name. To be proven as God's Word that content must be perfect. God spoke again 900 years later and said, "Examine the writings of The Prophets. Did their words come to pass?" If these writings have perfectly demonstrated their supernatural authority, then obey them. If not. disregard them! God has placed proof that the "Controller of All Things" is the Source these writings and told us, "They are objectively proven to be My Word."

There is not space in this workbook to cover all the Scriptures which give this unparalleled authority to the Word of God. However, on the following page ( Contact Us) is a chart of a number of the most striking prophecies in the Scriptures. I urge any who are seeking to know God to study these Scriptures, and stand amazed, as God shows His Hand to be holding the pen of the Hebrew Prophets. No other document on earth even comes close to this kind of authority.
